Once the site of the very first vineyards planted in Australia by James Busby, the grandfather of the Australian wine industry, this iconic piece of Hunter Valley land is now rolling pastures and parkland, with stands of iron bark and gum trees, and far-reaching views over the valley to the Hunter River and the Barrington Tops beyond.

This is a wonderfully private property in extensive ,well-maintained grounds. The house is spacious, well fitted and well furnished with all mod cons - everything you would expect - and fabulous views from every room. This property is absolutely gorgeous. The house itself has everything you need, a fully stocked kitchen and a bar kitchen as well, a pool table, and a gym. The pool was a lovely escape from the heat. Perfect Weekend Escape in the Hunter - The location and property were amazing. Plenty of lovely wineries within driving distance. The host was very welcoming and helpful with the local area.
